PT to the max


While I was down in Florida, I figured it was a good opportunity to pay a visit to my favorite athletic trainer, Chris Verna. Chris trains many college and professional baseball players and golfers. I am his first telemark skier. He had me working up a sweat (and snapping jokes) within ten minutes, and by the end of the trip, I should be on track for a pain free spring term. The trick? Back strength. Apparently sleeping on my stomach doesn't count as a back workout and the muscles were pretty weak (my grandma was lifting more than me!).
